Q: When and where is the event?

A: The 4th Annual Texas Corg Roundup will be held at Turquoise Acres Ranch, in Katy, Texas on November 11th, 2023 from 10 am - 4 pm. Please feel free to check our About section to get directions and see more information! 

Q: Am I allowed to bring my non-corgi siblings or furriends?

A: The answer is YES, of course! All breeds are welcome, not just corgi or corgi mixes. We welcome all dogs with open arms. They will be our "honorary" corgis for the day.

Q: Can I come even if I don't have a corgi?

A: Absolutely! As long as you are a lover of the breed and are prepared to love on a bunch of fluff butts for the day, you are more than welcome to come! Just keep in mind, all that attend must register on our website and the $27 entry fee is 100% donation to the non-profit organizations we are fundraising for.

Q: I'd love to volunteer, how can I participate?

A: We would LOVE to have more volunteers. This event wouldn't be possible without the help of our lovely volunteers. Please fill out our TCR Volunteer Application by clicking HERE. 

Q: I want to be a vendor! Are you accepting new vendors this year?

A: We are currently accepting vendors for our 2023 events.  Please fill out this app and e-mail it back to texascorgiroundup@gmail.com to be considered. We are also looking for 2-3 food trucks to attend our event! 

Q: How much does it cost to attend your event?

A: It is $27 per person to attend our event. Your entry fee is a 100% donation to the non-profit organizations we are fundraising for. This will increase on 10.1.23.
ALL PURCHASES ARE NON-REFUNDABLE.

Q: Will you have any corgi breeders selling puppies at your event?

A: No, we will not have any corgi puppies for sale at this event. We may have corgis up for adoption through Wyoming Dachshund and Corgi Rescue and you must fill out an application in order to be considered. At the actual event, you will be able to meet potential corgis for adoption and speak with the rescue in person! They will be available to answer all of your questions.

As with any transaction made online, please use caution. We are NOT responsible for, nor recommending personally, the breeders OR buyers on this document. It is YOUR JOB to properly interview a potential breeder or puppy buyer.

Q: Can I bring my new puppy?

A: We recommend that your dogs are up to date on all of their vaccinations in order to attend the event. If they don’t have all of their puppy shots, we require you to keep them off of the ground in a puppy carrier or stroller to prevent any kind of contraction of diseases.

Q: Is this an off-leash event?

A: No, all dogs must be on a leash at all times or in an enclosed x-pen that you are welcome to bring! 

Q: My dogs a bit snappy, will he be okay here?

A: We recommend for sensitive dogs that may become aggressive to be in an x-pen where they can feel safe and contained or in a basket muzzle. In a basket muzzle, they can still enjoy the event, play, drink water and eat but without the risk of them fighting with another dog.

A: We will have multiple food trucks on site and snack vendors!  Stay tuned for the menus!
